Sketchbook aims to inspire primary teachers to bring creativity into their classrooms through providing practical school-based workshops. 

The workshops are designed to raise teachers’ levels of confidence and enjoyment of art through a range of collaborative  and enjoyable activities.

Sketchbook features over 100 free creative projects for primary teachers.

 

The projects include lesson plans, schemes of work and videos to inspire creative teaching and learning in primary schools.

 

Each offers inspiring ideas and useful tips on how to teach a range of practical art skills and all are free to download.

All workshops and projects featured on Sketchbook are created by Robert Watts, 

Senior Lecturer in Art and Design Education at the University of Roehampton, London.  

Rob has 20 years' experience of training and supporting primary teachers. He leads the university's PGCE Art and Design programme and has published a range of books and articles on art education.
